A Little Haul :)

I started the day with a reasonable amount of money in the bank 25pounds and 29p. However a little visit to town has left me with a bank balance of 29p :(. However I did pick up some goodies, I started off at superdrug and picked up three things , Sleek blush, Gosh nail vanish and a Gosh eyeliner.

Gosh were having a lovely sale type thing and I managed to get the eyeliner in the colour pink darling for 1.50 and the Gosh nail vanish in sparkle for 2 pounds. The eyeliner is a lovely light pink create for all over lid colour (as a base) or in the waterline to brighten it up. The nail vanish is such a lovely gold pink toned sparkle (see picture below). The next was a sleek blush in the famous and very bright colour flamingo this is one of the brightest pinks I have ever seen however I think with a light hand this can be blended out to a lovely warm toned pink. This was priced at 4.95 pounds.

The next stop was house of fraser and surprise and surprise I went to miss selfridge and fell in love with some items. Three head bands which was all one pound which one orignal use to be 10 pounds :0. Then I found this skirt which was lovely at was 12 pounds. 

When you're feeling low.................

.....Change direction. 

Those weeks which you just can't stand, everything goes wrong,you lose things, you miss someone and you just feel the world is falling on top of you! Now I have had one of those weeks and today it just topped off how crap the week has been. For the second time now in the space of a week I have failed my driving theory test (yes lets here a awhh). I came home and I was just feeling low despite other things going on throughout the week that just topped it off. 

So I sat on the sofa with my Ben and Jerrys eating my worry's away (how sad is that! haha) watching my favourite show friends. When I just looked at various blogs and I found this saying "when things go wrong turn left" this left me a little puzzled. However its true when things aren't going the way I want why should I just sit here and moan, I should be grateful for what I have and be thankful I don't have bigger problems in life and just turn the other way and work my way round my problems. 

Ever now and again everyone feels low, and thats perfectly normally. Sit down feel sorry for yourself grab some Ben and Jerrys or a cuppa and just chill out. However the difference is to sit their and be happy for what you do have and pick yourself up and move on.

My BarryM Collection

I thought I would just show you one of my favourite drugstore brands :) Yes it is drugstore and that makes everyone happier because lets face it, it helps our banks! Even though we all love the expensive high end luxury items which have glamorous packaging. However we could all do with a cheap bargain and this is just one brand I love which is on the lower end of the price range.

However saying that with all lower end products most of them are pretty average and don't get you the results you need, however you do get the odd gem! So here is my barryM collection the good and the bad :)

The lip paints, the packaging is simple and sleek, I have 5 shades and the formula to all of these are of a high standard. Now I can't stand too creamy lipstick which slip of your lips and move around and you end up eating them (YUCK!). However these are perfect they have the cream when applying however when dried you can't even feel it on your lips and the colour is of average time length.

 The colours are starting with the nude (101), baby pink (100), medium pink (my fav and typical the number has worn off :() the red (121) and finally the black (37).

Now the nude shade 101 is not my favourite on its own as it can make you look a little dead but mixed with other colours creates a lovely effect. The baby pink simply not my cup of tea.

These sell for 4.49 pounds.

 Now the lipgloss is just lovely and Im a massive fan of these, NON STICKY and just glides on. Seems like my dog likes it as well as he has had a good old munch on the end.
This is just a swatch of the colour as you can see a lovely natural tone. This is in shade number 10 and smells AMAZING! Mine smells just like toffee and I could just lick it off my lips yum!
 These were 4.49 pounds.

This can be really sharp and drying on the lips however pair it with 121 lip paint and it works and makes the colour last all day. These sell for 2.99 pounds

Now the famous Barry M dazzle dusts and these are amazing the pigmentation was spectacular! The last is amazing however watch out for the fall out.

I have the shades 77(orange) and DD(dark purple).

These sell for 4.59 pounds.

Now for the nail paints, these are very popular and probably there most well know product. I have four shades and have miss placed my favourite :( which is a coral colour.

Now the colours from left to right lets go 292 Navy,295 pure turquoise and 273 raspberry.

These sell 2.99 pounds.

Tips For Finding Some Bargains When Its Not Sale Season

Okay guys, I have a problem I just keep spending :(. From now on the bank has frozen and I will keep my card far away (maybe some place high so I can reach it). So over the holidays I Have made many purchases from ebay to House of Fraser. The good news ALL the products in this haul were in the SALE , yes I know its not sale season so how you doing this well I will tell you................................

I look in places such as Topshop normally in the corners for a sale rack they normal won't have one in built up places such as westfield as they will feel they can charge full price for the product and people will pay.

Another tip is places such as House of Fraser, these places which sell brands such as Miss Selfridge and warehouse as well as high end brands such as Ted Baker , Chanel, Dior etc. Most likely have their sale items unlike the actual store. For example I went into the Ted Baker store in westfield to find no sale everything full price however I then went to House of Fraser and they had a sale.

Last tip is Miss selfridge always have a sale of some lovely dresses so just go check them out when you have time.

Lets Glam up those Nails!

Hey my lovelys,

I was on youtube just looking at a few beauty gurus and I came across a tutorial from macbarbie7 (who I adore). It was a nail tutorial just to give you some background info, Im terrible at nail art and thought that this would go horribly wrong. However I followed the tutorial to create these lovely nails(see below) , I changed the colours a bit to my taste and skipped out the bunny ears just because that was a step to far for my liking.

The method didn't take me long and now really reminds me of spring and brightens up my day :) I recommend you all go watch the video and see if you can try this fun girly nail look too. If you do try it out be sure to link my a blog post of a poster so I can see your finally nail look too.

My Make Up Collection And Storage!

  Hello my lovelys, I thought my first proper beauty post should be something interesting and let you know what products I really love using. So you might of guessed that this is a post about my make up collection and storage. Now I do release my obsession is extreme and I have collected a wide range of makeup from my favourite lipsticks to fewer blushers. I do know to some people this may be very small but to me this a very large and has been collected over a couple of years!

Lets start..... The actual storage is from IKEA and is still in stores I can't remember exactly but I do believe it was under the 100 pound mark. The mirror does fold down but I leave it up for last minute checks in the morning(can't have me running out the door with overdone blush or a tango line). It comes with 6 draws which are all full with interesting things so lets get started.

So the big box which has a vintage look is a gift from my mother when she went paris, it currently holds all my nail vanish. The purple base is a scarf as the base was actually really ugly brown colours. This scarf makes it a bit more girly for my liking. Now the brushes at the back are in a old lollipop tin which looked very abstract and then a little rose jar which contains my every day brushes. Standing on its own is one of my favourite powder brush from Ted Baker. I then have some very simple basics such as eye lash curlers and pencil sharpener.
The first two draws I keep books and my hair extensions which are generally very boring so I won't be showing you those. Now the third draw is wear the make up begins.

This is the first draw as you can see it has a range of things in, but overall this is the complexion draw containing foundation, highlighting,concealer, lashes , face masks and moisturisers.

 At the back you can see a tin this contains unused foundations, concealers, primers etc. Some brands include MAC, the body shop, Nars, Revlon etc.

The second tin closer to us, is products I use on a frequent basis so my favourite foundations, highlighters etc.

Then some bits and bobs such as mirrors, face masks and eye lashes dotted around the draw

The second draw contains eyeliners,mascara, lipgloss,lipliners,lipsticks,single eyeshadow and pigments. In the jar to the left side is where I keep my mascara and liners.

Next to that is a tin which I keep lipsticks on the left side and slowly work to lipgloss and lipliners.

Then I have a box which was from sephora and I have just all eye products everywhere from a range of brands.

Brands may include, Barry M,Natural collection, urban decay, Mac etc.

This is just a quick close up of the tin I use , It did infact use to be a biscuit tin. It had such a vintage feel I didn't want to through it away so I recycled it and turned it a box full of non edible goodies :)

So just a close up of another thing a recycled for my eyeliners and mascaras is this jar. It originally came with sweets in but as I gobbled all the sweets I washed it out and placed my eyeliners and mascara its just something I felt was original and sweet.

This is the second to last draw, however the last draw of makeup. This is where I keep blushers and palettes, as you can see the blushers and bronzers are at the back and compared to lipsticks I have very a few. With brands such as natural collection, mac and my favourite NARS. 

Now in the basket I keep my palettes , which range from Mac,Dior, sleek etc. The ones along the side are my bigger palettes so thats my beloved pixi palette and mac palette. And finally my Elizabeth Arden Palette.


Now the last draw is just full of hair products which I don't use and is a complete mess and will not be showing you that draw. So here it is my collection, so if the pictures are dark its due to no natural light as it is day but Britain decided it wanted grey dark weather today :(! hope you enjoyed

Boredom Continues.....Youtube begins

Easter Holidays and my boredom has continued, my friends are either in a another country enjoying the heat or are working :(. Which leaves me friendless and bored, so after watching and catching up on some tv shows such as 90210 and one tree hill and continuing with my revision :(. I thought I would explore all aspects of the internet and yes I have put myself on youtube! 

After watching countless videos on makeup tutorials,hair,nails and hauls I fell in love with the beauty community. So I just thought why not, they look like they enjoy what they're doing and I think the concepts appeals to me. So here is my very first video which is a tutorial for one of the most catchy songs ever- Carly Rae Jepsen call me maybe in which she supported a very natural look and simple( however she did have some amazing lashes on). I was going out just to the cinema and a meal and thought this look would be perfect and thought I should just film myself doing it! so here it is I hope you enjoy this look and if you do please subscribe as I probably Have 0 subscribers!
